Communications Dilema Scala G9 or Senna SMH10-11?

On the Horns of a dilema;

Bought TomTom Rider today - need BT Headst to hear it, have a Android galaxy S3 for a phone, want to be able to hear GPS and Phone (sometimes)

No Pillion, wife prefers her Mini Convertible, long term financial ramifications make girlfriend unfordable

Choices down to Scala Rider G9 @ $234 on Amazon or
Senna SMH10-11 @ $156.52

Biggest difference I see is that the Scala also offers an FM Radio built in, but so do some Sena?

"Sena may soon connect with other units" SMH10 Firmware upgrade allows this?

Don't ride with any particular group here so Inter-connectivity with other riders is not a big concern.

What am I not seeing?

I have the Scala G4 and love it. I can communicate with friends 3/4 mile away. But the built in FM radio is not very good.

I've had 2 Scala Q2's and now have a G9 radio works great on all of them. I have a friend that does reviews for products. He recently received a set of Scala G9x to test. Guess it whats coming out next. Sena should have a new unit out next month.

I'm waiting for the Sena S20. Everything the SMH10 is plus FM radio, multichannel, Bluetooth 4.0, etc. Revzilla is taking preorders.

I run with the Scala G9 and love it. Easy to use and update. I got tired or riding with my dad who would last minute dart up a street and expect the oh so nimble brand new 600+lb bike to heave to as his 919 does. Lol

And then the comedic stop and go to find each other, which usually ends up meeting back at the house. I bought the pair and said. USE THIS!! lol Now we have option to laugh and point at other motor vehicles and their antics, say what route we're taking and or ignore each other and switch on the radio and or streaming music from our phones.

Yes, I believe SMH5 has a FM option.

Yes, SMH10 firmware 5.0 was just released allowing pairing to non-Sena headsets.

I think the new, not yet released Sena 20S is what you're looking for. It will have FM as awell as the SMH10 features.
