Sr357

Hi all,

I recently scored a Givi V46 at a really great price but unfortunately not all of the pieces for the E228 mount that came with it were present. From everything I have read, that's not an issue as the SR357 is a superior mount. My only concern before ordering one is the fact that I have read that there are production issues and the the SR357 isn't mounting properly on the FJRs. Any feedback / advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

First- what model bike do you have? The SR357 does NOT fit all models.

Second- don't sweat the fitment. A washer or two and you're good.

Agree with rbentnail, a washer or two to pack up the spacers if need is all you need to do. Worked perfectly on mine.

Iíve had more than one and they fit perfectly. You have to put it on a certain way or it can appear as though itís not lining up. Mine have lined up perfectly. I would order with confidence.

SR357 fits Gen2 and up. Like Bill says, install with all fasteners loose and you shouldn't have an issue.... very slight upward pressure at the rear screw perhaps but no worries.

I have a 2009 and the SR357 seems to be the proper mount?

Yes, for a 2009 the SR357 is correct.
