Bumper Guard Blocks, Motorcycle Engine Guard Bumper Block Protection Decor

Installed a bunch of these blocks on my Givi 1" or 25mm guards, when I drop it they'll be the first line of defense, they are only a few dollars each (but well made and solid) and easy to replace. I like the kind of industrial look, goes well with the ADV bike. They are also good fit to TRex 7/8" or 22mm bars so I'll install a few on my FJR as well, why not.

A few months ago you posted about some sort of winch cable stopper that you were going to attach to your TRex bars to prevent your bike, in the event of a low speed tip over, from rolling over far enough to damage the mirrors. Did you ever try the cable stoppers or are these bumper blocks an alternative to them?

Yes you have good memory Haynes, I was going to use those WARN winch cable stoppers, they even have some at Princess Auto, but at $20.00 each plus I'd have to drill the inside to 22mm (FJR) and 25mm (Vstrom), too much work and kind of expensive, came across these and bought about 36 they are good quality nylon and SS screws, perfect fit and for the price a good protection for guards.
1) First I wanted to protect the bike with engine guards,
2) then I wanted to protect the guards with these blocks,.....
3) the way things are going I'll find something to protect the blocks
4) if I can only find some air-bags for each side ;-P

Thanks for this. I will take a look at your link and probably buy some too.

4) You could strap a Helite vest to both sides of your bike.😊

Cheers
