I wouldn't worry too much about brand, but I'd kinda stick to better known... all are rebuildable easy enough, most seals, etc. are universal.... no firm schedule on refresh needed. Some will tell you every 20k, others have gone 80k... as long as it ain't leaked out and you haven't noticed damping softening, I say ride it. My RaceTech was OK at 40k, resprung it and refreshed then (the spring was too hard, I'd had enough).
