The concept is great except for that bit of squishiness side to side.
Foam and gel pads do not shape to your butt, they shape to the seat under you. Memory foam will shape to your butt, but it's too squishy to support you properly. You'll spend lots with different solutions until you finally get it and admit you need a custom seat, lol. I'd just skip to the end and save some bucks in the long run. Admit it, that Airhawk cost you and it didn't work, lol.
Yes that is my fear .. might have to just pony up anyway I have tried ALL inflation levels he airhawk still no bueno

I've got the stock Gen 2 seat and I get pressure point pain on the backs of my thighs after 300 miles in a day. Would the Seat Concepts help that? I need something for the longer rides and I can't justify spending $500-$1000 on a seat.

Or you can ride over to Ellensburg and try my stock seat. I'm much closer.

I just tried a Sargent seat and that pressure was a specific item I mentioned. The Sargent is a different shape, like a bucket seat, and really helps with that pressure.

I am probably willing to do both trips
meet a fellow rider ..put some miles on and try some different seats
At the moment I am waiting for some brake pads from rand rapids Michigan to here ..ordered the 20th still in transit from FEDEX
been resigned a a delivery date 3 times ( and Saturday it just disappeared and just pending ) I may have to just buy the stock brakes from a local dealer and sent this back...if it ever arrives

BTW the old brakes were about 1/128 of an inch thick .. the previous owner couldnt tell. but the first thing I said to him when I got off the bike was " You need knew brakes "
Him " Really ?? I think they are fine ."

I'll definitely have to look into them. I just need a front seat which looks to be a bit cheaper than most other options. Do you have to send your pan in or is it a full unit? The Seat Concepts looks like a good option especially to save some money by recovering it myself.
