Radar Detector mounting Gen II

Hey there fellas I'm a new guy here who just picked up a 2006 FJR with 6K miles in absolute mint condition. Although I haven't owned a bike in over 5 years I have gotten used to driving with a Radar Detector during that time. I would really love to see what kind of mounting solutions y'all have come up with. So please feel free to post pictures and links to your current setup. The only thing I plan to mount other than my RD is my phone and I think a RAM mount will handle that nicely. Thanks a bunch.

I put some industrial "Velcro" on the bottom of my V1 and the other side on the dash shelf. V1 goes up on the dash shelf and has been safe there for years.

FJR Goodies (as noted in the photo). Yes I'd recommend it. And You'll need to just look for FJR SHELF to find current mfgrs. Some come and go over time.

I mounted my Adaptiv Tech radar detector using the RAM ball mount on the clutch lever perch.

It's simple math.

Thanks again for the feedback guys. I definitely ma leaning towards a shelf or something of that nature as I would prefer it mounted in the center of the bike. Any plug and play hardwiring kits that are commonly used?
