Are Motorcycle Larry forward foot pegs year specific?

I have a 2004 FJR1300.
I have a local (almost local) Gent selling some Motorcycle Larry forward foot pegs for his 2007.
You know, the ones that bolt to the stator cover on the left side,
and I believe the water pump cover on the right side.
I don't believe our engine cases have changed year to year.
The MCL website is no longer any help.
I know the fairings are different Gen to Gen, but I'm not sure if that would be an issue.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
David

David,
I don't know if they will fit your 2004. I do know is that Gen 2 will not fit Gen 3 because of the difference in the Fairings.

Thanks,
Garauld got back to me in a PM and said that I should be good to go from Gen 1 to Gen 2.
I appreciate your comment, though. Have a great day!

-> I don't believe this to be accurate as I have sold a lot of Gen3 kits that are the same as the Gen1 & 2s except for color.

Yes they are year specific. Get one before the year he died.

Better yet, support one of our own and get something from Garauld.

Garauld,
You May be correct but I tried to put the MCL ones from my 2013 on my buddies 2012 and the brackets would fit the engine covers but the fairing was in the way of the pegs. we could not install them.

Do you make, or know of, a rider peg lowering kit? My knees are bothering me on longer rides and I'm for considering the option to lower my pegs a bit. Thanks
