Cal-Sci Windshield

This is a request for images of 2003-2005 FJR with Cal-Sci windshield installed.

I'm looking for profile (full bike) and front (full bike) views.

Sharing your experience with this product would also be welcome.

Thanks.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Yes, please. An image on an '07 would be helpful.

Thanks.

Cal-Scientific

I had a +4 on my 07. The protection was superior to the stock windscreen. However, I found the fit and finish lacking. The thickness of the plastic was thinner than the Rifle screen I am presently using and the machining of the edges and the two holes where the cover for the attachment screws attaches to the windscreen were rather rough.

I've said it before on this forum -- if you are looking for the best protection, go with the Rifle screen. It's no contest.

I researched a number of websites looking for a windshield for my 2005 FJR, I almost made a mistake with my comfort, time and money by considering another national brand of windshield. Lucky for me I came upon this discussion forum and decided to order the Cal Sci “Tall” windshield as I’m 6”-1”. I received it after 4 days of ordering it and it came packed with an appropriate protection a cover, chrome screws, glass cleaner and a complimentary air tire gauge. After unpacking the windshield, I noticed two cut outs just above where the windshield brackets attach to the windshield. This is perfectly normal and designed this way. However I did not notice the cut out when I ordered the windshield so I called Cal Sci to ask if I had received the correct windshield for my 2005 FJR. Mark at Cal Sci was very helpful in explaining the reason for these cut outs and encouraged me to install the windshield and take it for a ride at low and high speeds. He stated that I would experience a quite ride and no back pressure pulls to my helmet. Mark was absolutely correct, I rode at 60, 80-90 MPH which turned out to be a comfortable, quite ride. I would recommend their windshields over any other on the market.
