I was in Monterey last month to see my son graduate from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, tried to go Big Sur, got as far as Big Sur State Park and then this stopped us, had lunch at Nepenthe....man this has got to hurt:frown2:
Sbixby and Liquid...Bixby Bridge is safe and intact, it is well north of the bridge this article refers to which is Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge just south of Big Sur State Park,...
If it's anything like bridge construction on the east coast, we'll all be long gone by the time it's completed! LOL
sbixby, have to be careful, Cali might be "looking" for the owner to pay back maintenance. Haha.
Thats quite something. They are building a foot trail "for locals only" in California, The Sanctuary City State, where they can't/won't make any effort to keep illegal aliens out.
They say the environment is too delicate. But somehow its not for locals. And somehow its not too much to drop the old bridge into the valley and later pickup the refuse. After it has trampled the flora and fauna.
