Question New fjr owner

Just bought a 2015 a week ago .i have been a harley rider for many years.on a long road trip is the fjr more comfortable

I think the answer is rider preference, For me it is. Was your Harley an 883 sportster or a decker? Both Harleys one is good for an hour the other can be ridden much longer.

It is a personal preference, but I believe many folks, like me, find any " forward foot control" bike uncomfortable for long distance. Having both your feet and you hands in front of you curves your back in an unnatural way and can lead to lower back pain.
That said, Harley's with floorboards or a more upright riding position can be very comfortable, depending on the seat. I can ride my FJR all day

Hi, welcome to the forum. Just bought a 16 three weeks ago. Haven't been on any long rides yet, but my FJR is much more comfortable than my Sprint ST was.
