FJR-1300 Highway Pegs from MCL

Motorcyclelarry now has highway pegs available for all model year FJR's.
They are different from previous designs in that they are mounted at an angle where by if you hit something they will kick up out of the way. They use the same peg as your passenger peg and are powder coated to match the engine covers.

Take a look at

They look great.
My bike has the colour matched foot shields fitted. Can both be fitted at the same time?

So the page says if your driver pegs aren't lowered and they drag on the road alot not to buy this product. Will these pegs cause problems while they are stowed in the up position? I am thinking as long as they are up you should be able to drag your pegs all day and have no problem. I am interested in these for long rides when I need to take a nap...I mean cruise. Any thoughts?

If it really were that easy we'd all be cavemen

Hey, where did they go? It seems like they were pulled off the web site. I saw them only a few days ago??....

Where in the rule book does it say I have to grow up?

They went "OUT OF STOCK" but are back on now. Our software which I need changed disappears when zero stock is hit. Yes you can keep them up and drag your pegs all day without touching the highway peg brackets.

Important thing here is even if you forget they will just kick up.

I am not sure what the Yamaha foot shields are, haven't seen them can you send me a link on them.
Thanks
Larry

I will say that the pegs are going to go up a few bucks soon because Yamaha raised there price on the pegs we buy from them. The increase will be about 10 bucks.
