Question 2013 seat

does anyone know if the 2013 seat is the same as 2012? Corbin does not have a seat for 2013 and said they wasn't sure if it had changed?

I have a 2013 and a Corbin (heated front and back with a Smuggler) and can assure you they fit.

Dunno. Still waiting for my aux lights to come in in so I only have to tear everything apart once to install.

Wanted a heated seat - not really partial to the looks of the Russell - although I am assured my ass will tell me differently . So I picked Corbin - I'm sure it will be fine but will post up as soon as I get some seat time. Looks pretty good

Sorry to say, Corbin doesn't have a seat for the 2013. I am about to embark on my annual 2000+ mile SE USA run with my buds and added the 2013 FJR to my collection (just have 2 bikes now lol) in late march.

I've added SciCal Shield, Grip Puppies, Givi with factory brake light, 3M Protective Tank/Luggage Film kit and the most important is my AS# which I moved my Airhawk from my Fatboy to the FJR as Corbin doesn't have it yet

Ride safe and may the wind be at your back!

I live on the other side.... New York....

Sorry to hear the seats for 2013 FJR aren't designed / produced yet. Guess I will have to look elsewhere as I have a 2500 mile run in 40 days from now I was really hoping to get a Corbin seat of the new bike. Might just settle for a Sargent seat (if they have 2013 FJR seats available) or just go with a Airhawk cushion.

Wish ya had them... Corbin was my first choice.......as I would be giving you my CC info right now!

I will save your email address and email you any updates from my R&D department

comments: Good afternoon!

I am looking to replace my stock seats on my new 2013 FJR1300 for a upcoming long distance adventure!

Do you have these in stock? If not, what is the turnaround time? My trip is in 35 days and I like to get at least a couple weekends to breakin the new seat.

Thanks!

Eric

Can anyone make sense of what Corbin guys say? Many 2013 riders attested to the fit of Gen II on 2013 with no issues. Could it be Corbin just playing chicken if they never got any 2013 into their shop to try?

Sounds like Corbin doesn't know that 2006 - 2013 are all the same..... and just too lazy to look/research.

This ^^

The stock seats on Gen II and Gen III bikes are interchangeable. My Gen II smuggler trunk fit my Gen III bike perfectly.

Corbin doesn't look good in this exchange.
