Looks like they plan to cover development costs in a short period of time.

I also got a similar email, but the writer didn't address my question of a reduced pre-production price or the availability of a group buy for members.

The Smuggler looks very nice, although a bit small. No need to lock it though with a rattler in it!

I sent a message to Corbin:

quote:

Wow! I just saw your Smuggler for Yamaha FJR 1300 and I really like the look. I am happy there is room for an SLR camera but when I travel I not only have a camera but several lenses, flashes, tripod and a plethora of photo accessories. I presently carry this gear in a large Tamrac Super Pro 14 which I strap to the passenger seat of my FJR. Is there any possibility you would be offering a larger version of the Smuggler for the FJR, with the capacity of the Tamrac Super Pro camera bag?
Gary Schimelfenig

Corbin's reply:

quote:

Thank you very much for your interest in our products, we've been making seats over 34 years and are the leading motorcycle seat manufacture in the country. I'm sorry, but that's the only size we'll make. thanks again.

I think you mean mine- If so they are just factory decals for the front fairing, along with the rear reflectors removed, and replaced with the same badges from the fuel tank- it costs way more than is worth- 28 dollars for each FJR and 15 dollars for each badge- I got mine really cheap, beacuse of a mistake the service
department I go to. They ordered them by mistake, and instaed of eating them, they sold them to me at a huge discount. I would have never done it for retail price.
